But Taylor Swift got totally shut out.

Hold onto your flip phones, submerged cars, puffy jackets, “sorry” signs, and beds full of computer-generated celebrities: the nominees for the 32nd annual MTV Video Music Awards are out, and predictably, they’re filled with huge stars and catchy hooks. The biggest ones will be competing for the night’s main prize: Video of the Year, a category this year stacked by the likes of Adele’s “Hello,” Beyoncé’s “Formation,” Drake’s “Hotline Bling,” Justin Bieber’s “Sorry,” and, of course, the year’s most controversial music video, Kanye West’s feud-stoking “Famous.” (If Kanye beats Beyoncé this year, will he interrupt himself?)

Noticeably absent from this year’s nominee list? That would be last year’s big winner, Taylor Swift, who had 10 nominations and four wins at 2015’s VMA ceremony—even though her Joseph Kahn-directed video for “Out of the Woods,” the second single from her smash hit 2014 album 1989, was released in December of 2015, putting it squarely within the eligibility period for this year’s awards (Drake and Adele’s nominated videos both came out in October of 2015; West’s Famous, of course, only premiered its music video last month.)

You know which other videos did get nominated, though? “This Is What You Came For” (best collaboration video and best male video) and “How Deep Is Your Love,” clips for two songs by Swift’s ex, Calvin Harris. Let’s see if the squad shows up for this year’s VMAs now.

Here’s a longer list of nominees for the year’s bigger categories; find a full list, as well as a place to vote for your favorites, at MTV.com.
