Vanity Fair’s 2018 New Establishment Summit to Feature Bob Iger, Dara Khosrowshahi, David Solomon, and A.G. Sulzberger

This year, Vanity Fair’s fifth annual New Establishment Summit will convene leaders and entrepreneurs from the worlds of business, tech, media, and the arts for its signature conference offering attendees an inside look into the global corridors of power. Today, editor Radhika Jones announced an initial slate of speakers that includes Bob Iger, chairman and C.E.O of the Walt Disney Company, John Stankey, C.E.O. of WarnerMedia, Dara Khosrowshahi, C.E.O. of Uber, and David Solomon, current C.O.O. and president, and recently named successor to Lloyd Blankfein as C.E.O. of Goldman Sachs.

This year’s summit will take place October 8-10 at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills. Speakers from the global media sphere include A.G. Sulzberger—who on January 1 of this year succeeded his father as publisher of The New York Times—as well as Noah Oppenheim, president of NBC News, and Mark McKinnon, creator, executive producer, and host of Showtime’s The Circus.

This year’s summit will also tap a new generation of entrepreneurs who are making themselves household names among young, creative consumers. These include Audrey Gelman, C.E.O. and co-founder of the Wing, Nick Jones, C.E.O. and founder of Soho House, and Daniel Gendelman, C.E.O. and founder of Raya. Speakers from the arts and entertainment world will include Hannah Gadsby, comedian and star of the Netflix special Nanette, Rashida Jones, actor and producer, Quincy Jones, musician and humanitarian, and Chase Carey, chairman and C.E.O. of Formula 1.

Discovery Communications returns as founding sponsor for the fifth year in a row, and BMW returns as a presenting sponsor for the fourth year. HBO returns as a principal sponsor for the fourth year, and National Geographic signs on as a principal sponsor. Moncler, Barneys, and the Venetian Las Vegas all return as supporting sponsors.
