Not to be outdone by Pippa Middleton’s wedding to James Matthews last month, America’s ruling class gathered for some lavish nuptials of their own this weekend. On Saturday evening, Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin married Scottish-born actress Louise Linton in a ceremony attended by, it seemed, half of the White House itself.

Amongst the 300 guests present, according to CNN, were Donald Trump, his wife Melania, Ivanka, and Jared Kushner, as were White House press secretary Sean Spicer and his wife, and HUD Secretary Ben Carson. The ceremony was officiated by none other than Mike Pence, and was held at the historic Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C.

The bride wore a white lace princess gown and a diamond tiara while the groom wore coattails. Ivanka Trump appeared in a blush-pink dress while her husband opted for a classic tuxedo. Many of the guests were bussed by a private charter from the Trump International Hotel.

Linton, known for her diamond collection and acting roles on a 2009 episode of Cold Case and the 2016 movie Cabin Fever, had been engaged to Mnuchin since 2015. This will be Mnuchin’s third wedding and Linton’s second. Their relationship had faced backlash and criticism due to possible conflicts of interest since Mnuchin’s appointment to the White House. Mnuchin, who had previously worked at Goldman Sachs and a film production company, apologized in March after it seemed he had promoted The LEGO Batman Movie, on which he was an executive producer. Linton, also a former producer, announced in May that she would be resigning from her position at Dune Entertainment.

The newlyweds will soon be moving into their stately Massachusetts Avenue Heights mansion, which they purchased for around $12 million.
