Months after the Academy formally announced that it was delaying the 93rd annual Academy Awards due to the pandemic, the Oscar nominations were finally revealed—setting the stage for an unprecedented ceremony. Even the sharpest awards prognosticators may have been surprised by which films wound up in the final mix. And though we at V.F. have done our best to guess who will walk away with Oscars Sunday night, the only thing we really know is to expect the unexpected.

Mank is the film with the most nominations overall, with 10 total nods—but it seems unlikely to win any major awards. Meanwhille, Nomadland, Promising Young Woman, Minari, Judas and the Black Messiah, and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom are all well-positioned to take home the night’s biggest prizes, despite the various controversies that have dogged several of these films. At the same time, Sound of Metal, The Father, and The Trial of the Chicago 7 could swoop in at the last minute for upset wins.

Look below for a full list of Oscar nominees. Then fill out your preferred ballot—printable or digital interactive!—and watch the Oscars themselves, starting at 8 p.m. ET Sunday night on ABC.
