This weekend’s Saturday Night Live was notable for many reasons, from Tracy Morgan’s triumphant return to Larry David’s incredible Bernie Sanders impersonation. The increased attention paid to the episode is also good news for Demi Lovato, who made the most of her two performances of the night.

Her performance of “Stone Cold,” one of seven songs co-written by Lovato for her album Confident, was on the receiving end of many compliments on Sunday morning.

“The reaction has been incredible,” Lovato told VF.com on Sunday. “I'm just honored I was able to convey the emotion of the song.”
