Samantha Bee has never been timid about calling out injustices in politics and Hollywood, but even late night’s most outspoken lady can admit when she gets tired.

The Full Frontal host, while accepting her award for Glamour Woman of the Year on Monday night, revealed that even she sometimes reaches a personal breaking point when it comes to her show’s most frequent topic, Donald Trump.

After loosening up the crowd with her characteristic wit (“It’s very surreal to be here. I’ve cried many times tonight already. Does anyone have a maxi pad that I can dab my eyes with?”) and running through a list of thank yous that included strong “women and allies of women” among her family, friends and the staff of her program, Bee recognized one particular man. “To my outstandingly woke husband who is not here tonight because he’s taking care of our children, of which we have many, he really is such a critical part of why I’m able to take all of this stuff on and is such a soft place for me to fall when I feel like I can’t take another second of this fucking administration.”

But the end of this president’s term isn’t the only thing Bee looks forward to. The comedian said that while she’s honored to by recognized as a Woman of the Year, in the company of accomplished females including Nicole Kidman, Maxine Waters, and Gigi Hadid, she eagerly awaits a day when gender equality is no longer something to fight for, but something to enjoy.

“It’s wonderful to recognize women and of course it’s wonderful to be recognized, but I look forward to a time when we can get dressed up and be together and eat fancy finger foods and talk about completely different things. A time when women’s equality will just be a given. That our contributions and our talents and our influence will be recognized every fucking day, not just on special occasions, because we have other matters to get to. There are so many things that need our attention, and we need to be in every room and a part of every conversation. And if you don’t like the conversations we’re in, we need to make other conversations that are better.”
