Ten years ago, Julia Roberts predicted George Clooney would one day be a father. In a 2007 Oprah Winfrey Oscar special interview, Roberts, who was then pregnant with her third child, Henry, looked critically at Clooney, who was deep in one of his famous wisecracks. She pointed at him: “George, one day you’re gonna have a baby. You are.” “Am I?” said a then-single Clooney—still solidly in his Hollywood bachelor phase.

Fast-forward a decade, Clooney is 56, and on the verge of becoming a father to twin babies, reportedly due next month. Once again, Roberts, the mother of nearly 13-year-old twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus, has come to Clooney’s aid with some more valuable insight.

Per People, Roberts is well-aware of what her old friend and Ocean’s co-star is about to tackle.

“There’s no such thing as wisdom when you have twin babies in the house,” she said. “There’s just hopes and prayers and tears and holding on tight to each other.”

Though Clooney, as Matt Damon has noted, might be mostly clueless when it comes to the two new members of his burgeoning family, he’s already got one essential parenting skill under his belt: he’s a whiz at whipping up a fast meal.

When Roberts arrived at Clooney’s house for that 2007 interview, Clooney deftly anticipated the needs of his expectant friend. “Come on, Mamacita,” he said as he led a suddenly hungry Roberts outside, where he slapped two hamburger patties on the grill.

“That burger better be ready when I get back,” Roberts soon called toward Clooney as she made a mad dash to the bathroom. And it was.

When it comes to meal time, Clooney is ever at your service. But, as he reminded Roberts upon serving up her burger, just be sure to call him “Chef George.” That nickname is a little harder to say than “Daddy,” but the twins should catch on soon enough.
