Yes, Game of Thrones came away with three big prizes, and an Emmy record to boot—but HBO’s fantasy drama wasn’t actually the biggest winner on television’s biggest night. Instead, that honor belongs to The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, which waltzed away with five statuettes—adding more hardware to FX’s impressive tally—at the 68th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards Sunday night. And that’s to say nothing about the evening’s heartening slate of first-time acting winners, including Rami Malek, Tatiana Maslany, Louie Anderson, and, oh yeah, longtime Emmy bridesmaid Sarah Paulson. See below for a full list of results, with winners indicated in bold.
