It was a day that royal obsessives will no doubt be remembering for a very long time: the first-ever joint outing for Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, sans husbands. The duo attended Wimbledon together for the women’s finals this past Saturday, where Serena Williams took the court, and let’s just say they were intensely scrutinized. Kate opted for a classic white polka-dotted dress, whereas Meghan took a bit more of a style risk, pairing a striped Ralph Lauren button-down with some (very) wide-leg white pants.

As you can imagine, your In the Limelight podcast co-hosts, Josh Duboff and Julie Miller, had a whole lot to say about Meghan and Kate’s tennis-watching date. Additionally, the two dig into the other major royal-related news items of the past week . . . Thomas Markle (again) decided to speak to the press, and no one is clear exactly what his endgame is; meanwhile, there are a whole bunch of new delightful portraits of the royal family to discuss, taken at Prince Louis’s christening.

So find yourself a jaunty Panama hat (to hold on to, but not to wear!!), find yourself some wide-leg pants for your next dinner party, and listen to this week’s episode of In the Limelight.
